"Miss Susan", as she is affectionately known by her day care students, brings 30 years of experience to managing all aspects of the Wee Wonders child care program. She has been director since the center very first opened. Influenced by the works of renowned child care theorists Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotsky, she has a wealth of knowledge on child care and stays current on the latest research and innovations in the field.
Parents of Wee Wonders Child Care students can rest assured that their children will be nurtured in a safe, warm, secure, and fun environment. We have an open door policy and encourage a close relationship between parents and teachers.
Wee Wonders teachers and staff use the Rhode Island Early Learning Development Standards as a guide for what children should know, understand, and be able to do to support their learning. Understanding that children can have unique learning styles, developmental levels, and interests, we use these standards as a tool to help each child learn and grow.
